In the welter of proposals presented at Pitti Immagine Uomo, Studio Pretzel collection, designed by emerging designer Emiliano Laszlo, is the one which most impressed me, mainly thank to the magnificent essentialism made of austere forms. A collection with a Japanese flavor. Built on the philosophical beauty that evokes the scent of freedom of contemporary fashion.

Emiliano makes a virtue of necessity. He combines convenience of tissues to functionality of lines. A collection very zen, charged with sensuality and severity, made up of soft volumes focused on shirts and shorts. Made with fresh and light materials.

Linens, cottons and denims define summer shirts, pants and blouses with works of micro stitching in the shape of “starry sky” and experimentation of furniture materials for classic pants-kimono.

Buttons wrapped tone on tone, are the hallmark of an elegant and uncompromising style, away from stereotypes of trendy silhouettes. Blue, gray, brown and blue sky, form a palette of muted and reassuring colors.

100% Made in Italy. The collection is made at zero km by a network of local artisans capable of working on single pieces and large numbers, all between Prato, Florence and Pontassieve.
